Chamber President and Rotary Member Michelle  and Chamber Foundation President Jessica celebrate another successful Parade.
Rotary Member Steve Collins leads a large flock of Hermosa Cyclery bike riders down Pier Avenue.
Our Scout Troop 860 Participated as the Parade  Color Guard along with Redondo HS ROTC.
Our Cub Scout Pack 860 followed, led by Asst. Scout Master Joe Rummel, member Mauri's husband.

march Students of the Month

Arbor Miller

Arbor is an athlete, musician and great student.  Her teachers use the word "Compassionate" to describe her.  She plays club volleyball and soccer.  Musically, she sings, plays guitar and keyboard, preferring Country music, as one would expect from a kid growing up in Hermosa Beach!

Luke strosnider

Luke is a musician, athlete and great student, whose teachers describe him as "Gracious".   He loves playing baritone sax in the school band and the jazz band that plays during lunch.  He also loves Baseball, plays soccer, golf and likes sailing.  His proud grandparents joined mom, dad & brother in celebrating his award.

Ken Gillespie Introduces us to Fisher House southern california chapter

Fisher House So Cal supports four Fisher Houses across Southern California, providing essential resources and assistance to military and veteran families while their loved ones receive care at nearby VA and military hospitals.  Find out more at:

Ken has been a long time volunteer for Fisher House SoCal.  After understanding the valuable work this organization performs, our club is making a contribution earmarked to help the families with transportation costs while they are resident in one of the Fisher House facilities.

President-elect training (pets) energizes new district leaders
President-Elect Angie drank from the PETS fire hose in February, learning what is expected of a club president and how to access all the support offered by our District 5280 and Rotary International.  At right, Angie has a fun photo-op with District Governor-Elect Alex Parajon.
Hermosa Rotary is supporting our neighboring club Redondo Beach Rotary who is holding their inaugural South Bay Film Fest Fundraiser in our Hermosa Beach Community Theater on April 11 4-9PM.  Our sponsorship will feature our own Hermosa Friday Farmers Market.
