Education shapes the future of an individual. It may seem accessible to most of us but it is often unattainable for many. Rotary International established Education as one of its primary areas of focus throughtout the world. Hermosa Beach Rotary has supported several initiatives both locally and internationally.

In partnership with other Los Angeles area Rotary clubs, renowned sculptor and Rotarian from the Rotary Club of Downtown LA, Peter Lattey, and Brett Weiss of the Rotary Club of Naperville, will share hopes to empower and improve the structure for educational opportunities, especially for young girls who are often left out of the equation entirely. This program offers a more sustainable approach to touch the lives of the young people in Kenya.
