President Steve Peterson called the club to order at his first meeting in July while learning the art of banging the gavel. His mantra for his term is to be vibrant and engaged. To that end, he has instituted fun new fines as well as a challenge to all members: who can we partner with to expand our reach?
The club currently spreads its outreach and good works to local schools and youth leadership groups including but not limited to scouting, literacy, instrumental music, youth sports as well as decades of assistance fighting disease, hunger and poverty. The club is looking to be more involved in District activities like the Oaxaca Humanitarian trip and Rise Against Hunger. President Steve promises to craft a doable plan to involve every member!
