Jim Bell Day
Luncheon cost is $20 and ALL ARE WELCOME
For the past fifty years or so our Hermosa Beach Rotary Club has been celebrating "Salvation Army Col. Jim Bell Day" at a Tuesday meeting just before Christmas. The Salvation Army Rotary member Lt. Victoria Mercer will be bringing the small S. A. Christmas Kettles to be set on each table and members and guests are asked to place their fines, contributions and donations to this fine charity in the kettles during the meeting.
Special musical entertainment provided by Bob Peterson and the Freeman Valley Quintet for our enjoyment, a long tradition. They donate their honorariam to the S.A. as is their tradition also. Other gifts and donations help the local South Bay S. A. with their services for the needy.
This festive Tuesday meeting is open to guests as long as we know who is coming in advance. Merry Christmas to everyone..
